Meet Our Family

Our Directors:

Our Directors, Keith and Liz, have been married for 35 years. They’ve covered a lot of ground over the years, from sailing the seas, travelling the world and owning businesses.

Having had experience in the entertainment and hospitality industries, Keith and Liz are very hands on in bringing the Kangy Gardens vision to life. From gardening, landscaping, styling and of course, guiding couples through the wedding planning process, they bring their passion and experience into every celebration.

From your initial walk through to your special day, Keith and Liz are present to ensure each experience has a personal touch.

Just incase things weren’t busy enough, Liz also works as a registered private midwife, supporting mums and bubs (and Keith will often call himself the mid husband).

Our Staff:

Chiara and Priya are Keith and Liz’s two daughters (we’re a real family business!).

Chiara works behind the bar and on the floor, collecting glasses, popping champagne bottles, and you might catch her serenading guests on arrival as a violinist. When she isn’t at Kangy Gardens, Chiara is busy at schools, homes, daycares etc. working as a paediatric Speech Pathologist.

Priya also works behind the bar, on the floor and as our resident DJ (DJ Hoops). She helps ensure there is constant music from entrance to exit, keeping the dance floor vibes high. When she isn’t working the decks, she is currently studying to become an Occupational Therapist.

Mckaela is our cocktail connoisseur and a Kangy local! You’ll often see her running around the venue as she truly does a bit of everything, but always with her warm, vibrant smile and personality. During the week, Mckaela is a sensory hairdresser, working with children and adults with sensory needs.

John, Mckaela’s partner is our pizza man! He works behind the wood fired pizza oven, making sure you get the most delicious pizzas, hot and fresh. He’s also never afraid to lend a helping hand wherever is needed.

Last of all, we can’t forget our resident mascot, Leo (pictured). Leo is Kangy Gardens’ bodyguard (can’t you tell?). When he’s not at the venue, he’s busy raiding the pantry, chasing anything that moves and bringing a lot of joy to the Kangy Gardens family.

It’s our three year milestone, I think it’s time we introduce ourselves.
